Comprehensive Financing Solutions
Customers choose loans for the financing of new or used equipment, with flexible amortization and terms to match both the useful life and value of the equipment as well as their desired payment schedule. Loan financing of equipment keeps other sources of capital (equity or working capital lines) available for strategic business uses.
Finance leases are another great way to have the ability to use equipment critical in your operation for a fixed monthly cost avoiding capital outlays up front, but on a non-loan basis.
The value of equipment to our customers is in how they use and generate revenue, as the equipment itself is a depreciating asset. In a True Lease, the customer may have lower payments than in other financing products and can buy, return, or continue leasing the equipment at the end of the term of the lease providing enhanced operational flexibility.
TRACs are special true leases designed only for over the road transportation assets. The structure provides ownership type control of the asset value at the end of the lease while the Lessee is not considered the tax owner of the vehicle. In this structure we agree with our customers at lease inception on the future value (TRAC amount) of the vehicle, which drives the monthly payment. If the customer decides not to keep the vehicle at the end of the lease, they are responsible for the TRAC amount and get the benefit of any upside value in the asset and also are responsible for any value below the TRAC.
A Split TRAC is similar to a TRAC except that the lessee’s potential exposure at lease end is limited to a portion of the predicted future value.
